Rod was my patient, Rod was my friend. I enjoyed playing Euchre, listening to him share his memories of San Francisco and just spending time with him. I only knew him for a short time, but I will miss him forever. RIP my friend.

I never met my cousin but I have had conversations with his father and my uncle, Richard for many years. My mother, Mary (Shoemaker) Turner was the oldest child of John and Amanda (Porter) Shoemaker. Rod was our neighbor and dear friend. He was family to Meme and I and will be greatly missed. We are very sad and our hearts are heavy to hear of his passing.
