Robert John Bedore, age 82, of Saginaw, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Saginaw. He was born on September 28, 1942, in Saginaw, Michigan to John and Marion (Brieske) Bedore.
Robert worked for General Motors for 29.8 years as a stamping operator. He loved hunting, fishing, sport shooting, and was the Detroit Lions' biggest fan.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Roma (Smith) Bedore; loving children, Karen Baily, Brian Bedore, Bridget (John) Kerr, Brent Bedore, Andrew Petosky; grandchildren, Christopher Vacca, Jennifer Vacca, Michael Bowman, Hannah Kerr, Emma Kerr, Molly Kerr, Samantha (Wyatt) Eschenbacher, and Allie Bedore; several great grandchildren; former daughter-in-law, Kristie Bedore; brother, Patricia (George) Svede; sister, Linda (Mike) Crawford; nieces, nephews and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew Petosky; brother, Richard Bedore; and his parents.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will take place Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602. Pastor Scott Muske will officiate.
The memorial service will be livestreamed and available for family and friends to watch. Details and link will be provided below prior service.
