Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend passed away at her home on Sunday, September 20, 2026. She was 54 years old. Michelle Leigh Wright was born on October 12, 1971 in Royal Oak, Michigan to Douglass B. and Wendy (Goulette) Wright. Michelle attended school in Royal Oak and came to live in Saginaw in 2021. She loved to make arts and crafts and spend time fishing with her family.
Michelle is survived by her partner, Rosco Smith and his family; children: Steven Dodson, Brandon Wright, Matthew Rutkowski and Maranda (Jacob) Wetherford; granddaughter: Eliana and Skylar Wetherford; brother, Garrett Wright; many other dear family and friends.
In keeping with Michelle’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Her family and friends will gather together to celebrate her life.
