Obituary
Richard “Dick” Dean Dashner, age 93, of Saginaw, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026. The son of John and Margaret (Golz) Dashner, Richard was born February 16, 1933, in Saginaw, Michigan.
He married Barbara Krukowski and together they shared 34 years of marriage. Dick especially loved spending time outdoors while fishing and hunting.
Dick is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Dashner; loving children, Richard (Pam) Dashner, Lori (Mike) Howard, René Cardinal, George Dashner, Emalyn Graham, and Jerry Allore; adored grandchildren, Jeremy Dashner, Andy Dashner, Dawn Dashner, Kevin Dotson, David Dotson, Steven Cardinal, Myranda Dashner, Merissa O'Dell, Grace Dashner, and Hunter Dashner.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Jacqueline Rickard and Margaret Summerfield; and his brother, John Dashner; and their parents.
Visitation will take place Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602. Interment will take place at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery, Saginaw.
