Amelia Graves

Graves, Amelia JaneSaginaw Twp., MichiganPassed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 with her family by her side at age 75 years. Amelia was born on March 23, 1937 to the late Phillip and Jennie Alfano Saponieri. She married John Graves on May 31, 1953. He predeceased her on December 20, 1984. She retired, after 20 years of service, from Ray's Food Fair in 1985. Amelia is survived by her children; Deborah Solano, Donald Graves and Phillip Graves. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandson, two sisters; Theresa (Doug) MacDonald and Connie Rudnik. She was predeceased by her brother Bill Damore and brother in law Don Rudnik. Amelia's family would like to offer a special thank you to VNA Hospice nurses Devica and Barb and also to her dear friend Bonnie for all of their help and support. Funeral service will take place on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 4pm at the McIntyre Funeral Chapel, 500 N. Michigan with visitation on Monday from 1pm until time of service. Fr. James Heller will officiate with private burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to her family or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
