Robert Gardyszewski

Gardyszewski, Sr. Robert R. Saginaw Twp., MichiganBeloved father and grandfather went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 29, 2012 following a brief illness at age 86. Son of the late Walter & Magdalene Gardyszewski, Robert was born April 27, 1926 in Saginaw. He attended Arthur Hill Tech, was a World War II veteran and retired from GM. He was predeceased by his wife Helen in 2004. He is survived by three daughters; Hazel (Danny) Alexander, Joyce Scott, Madaline (Nelson) Sharpe and one son Terry (Tammy), 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother William (Delores) and several nieces and nephews. Robert was a devout Catholic and attended Ss. Casimir & George. He enjoyed spending time with his angels and taking pictures. Robert was predeceased by his son Robert Jr., a son-in-law Jerry Scott and 7 siblings. Visitation will be held at the McIntyre Funeral Chapel, 500 N. Michigan on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Ss. Casimir & George Church, 2122 S. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw. Burial will take place at Mt Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society of Michigan.
