Marjorie Haubenstricker

Haubenstricker, Marjorie Ann (80) went to be with the Lord on October 15, 2012. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years Harvey Haubenstricker. Her loving children, Susan Stieber (Chip), Tom Haubenstricker (Jennifer), and Steve Haubenstricker (Jennie), treasured grandchildren, Andrew Haubenstricker and Marisa Stieber. Also surviving are sisters Emma Jane Weadock and Kathleen Volk (Rodney), along with many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Lillian Juskialas, along with 2 brothers and 1 sister. Marjorie was born in Saginaw on Nov 26, 1931. She graduated from Saginaw High School in 1949. She met Harvey shortly afterwards and the couple married in Saginaw in 1957. After many years dedicated to raising her family, Marge was later employed at Jacobson's department store as Personnel Manager. She retired from Jacobsons in 1989 after 13 years of service. Marge was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and the Saginaw Opti-Mrs. Club. Funeral service will take place on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 11am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5335 Brockway. Family and friends are welcome to visit at the McIntyre Funeral Chapel, 500 N. Michigan on Thursday from 2-8pm and at the church on Friday from 10am until service. Pastor Mark Buckert will officiate with burial in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery. Donations may be made to Saginaw Optimist Club, Valley Lutheran High School, or the Good Shepherd Special Ministry Fund.
