Doreen Houlihan

Houlihan, Doreen StClairSaginaw, MI and Sarasota, FLDoreen went to join her husband William Houlihan on April 7, 2013. She was born April 29, 1924 to Robert and Zena Davidson in Edinburgh Scotland. An only child; Doreen immigrated to Saginaw Michigan where she became a US Citizen, married Bill and raised six children. She was a staunch advocate for animal rights and a supporter of numerous charities. Her favorite pastimes were spending time with her family, reading and gardening. Doreen is survived by her adoring family; Linda and Joe Cardozo, Gael Houlihan of Florida. Brion and Eileen Houlihan, their sons Sean and Patrick, Brad and Sue Houlihan, their son Brent, Bruce Houlihan, Zena and Mark Chauvette, their daughters Dana and Sara and the apple of her eye; great-grandson, Dana's son Trenton. Her extended family and circle of friends is nearly as large as her heart and cannot all be mentioned. She leaves us as she lived; with love, grace and gratitude for a life well lived. Please remember her in your hearts or through your favorite charity. Cremation has taken place with arrangements made by the McIntyre Funeral Chapel, 504 N. Michigan Ave.
