Christine Friske

Friske, Christine A.Saginaw, MichiganPassed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Covenant Cooper at age 51 years. Christine A. Fredericks was born in Lualualei, Hawaii on September 15, 1961. She was married to Greg Friske on September 18, 1982. Christine was co-owner of Timberwolf Cycle and Powersports and was the founder of the Timberwolf Cycle Lady Riders group. She was a volunteer trainer for the Saginaw Mitten Bay Council and Girl Scout troop leader for over a decade, where her entire group received their gold awards. Christine was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and served there as a head teller on the counting team. She is survived by her husband Greg Friske, her son Trent Friske, her daughter Breanna Friske, her mother Joann (Jones) Johannes, her brother Jeff Fredericks and her sister in law Tresa Fredericks. She was predeceased by her father John Fredericks. Funeral service will take place at Peace Lutheran Church, 3427 Adams Ave. on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 11am. Pastor Paul Hinz will officiate. Family and friends are welcome to visit at the McIntyre Funeral Chapel, 504 N. Michigan on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 2-8pm and at the church on Wednesday from 10am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be considered to Peace Lutheran Church Ladies Guild or to the American Cancer Society.
