Dorothy Peters

Peters, Dorothy M.Bridgeport Twp., MichiganPassed away early Friday morning, May 9, 2014 at age 86 years at the Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab Center. Dorothy was born on July 7, 1927 to the late Charles and Thelma Johnson Lavander in Newberry, Michigan. She worked as a radiological technician. She was married to Robert Peters, Sr. for 64 years. He survives her along with their children Gail and Robert, Jr. Dorothy is also survived by her special friend and her “sunshine” Penny Maxwell and beloved cat Penny. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 12 Noon at the McIntyre Funeral Chapel, 504 N. Michigan Ave. Reverend William Hessler, the Pastor of Faith Lutheran Church of Bridgeport, will officiate with entombment to follow at Oakwood Mausoleum in Saginaw. Family and friends are welcome to visit on Tuesday from 10am until time of service.
