Obituary
Thomas Stephen LaTarte, age 84, of Saginaw, passed away on Tuesday evening, January 13, 2026. The son of Stephen and Dorothy (Doyle) LaTarte, Tom was born on March 25, 1941, in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Dolly May Turner on December 7, 1984. Tom proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was employed by General Motors Malleable Iron as an electrician, retiring in 1999 after 35 years of service.
He loved hunting and fishing. Tom also enjoyed watching westerns and listening to classic rock. In his younger days, he was an avid reader. But, what he really loved most was spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his loving children, Michelle (Daniel) Sepke, Stephen (Jennifer) LaTarte, Tracy Swart, Tony Turner, and Tara Turner; grandchildren, Amanda Turner, Joshua Turner, Adrianna Turner, Makayla (Koa) Rodriguez-Morris, Kasey (James) Moffitt, Cody (Ashley) Tucker, Amber (Michael) Meyers, Christina (Tyler) Andres, Joseph Henne, Heather Dean, Matthew LaTarte, and Jade LaTarte; several great-grandchildren; his siblings, Jerilyn Burke and Pamela Green.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Dorothy LaTarte and his lovely wife, Dolly LaTarte.
Honoring Tom's wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no services planned at this time.
