Obituary
Carol Ann Mader, passed away unexpectedly at age 49, in Saginaw. Carol was born on September 16, 1965 at Saginaw General and left to go home with our lord on January 24, 2015. Her significant other to whom she was with for over 20 years, Lucio Lara Sr., predeceased her on July 12, 2001. The daughter of Florence Agnes (McLaren) Lee and Gerald William Mader, and step-father William (Sammy) Lee still survive her.Surviving are her four children, Elizabeth Lara-Griffus (Jason) Griffus, Gary Lara, Miguel Lara, and Juan Lara, and her two step sons Lou (Pam) Lara and Rudy Almendarez, and her three sisters Sandra (Steve) Darabos, Rosa (Jayson) Zeitz and Katy Mader and a brother Jerry Mader.. Her sister Jerri Ruth Lockwood (2004) and brother-in-law Mark Kellogg (2003) predeceased her. Her grandchildren Cianna, Adylina, Jaylynn, Jayden, and step grandchildren Jayce, Alex, K.C., and Katelean, also survive her along with several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, with a special cousin Francis (Albosta) Schiefer. Visitation for Carol will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the McIntyre Funeral Chapel 504 N. Michigan, Saginaw MI 48602 from 2-8pm and also at the church on Friday from 10 am until time of service. Family and friends are welcome to come pay their respects. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Francis Assisi Parish, 3680 South Washington Road in Saginaw. Fr. Brian Braun OFM Cap. will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
