Eva Hart

Hart, Eva Marie (Marklevitz)Saginaw, MichiganPassed away January 10, 2015 at age 98 years. Eva was born July 18, 1916 in Saginaw to the late John and Lizzie Dubey Marklevitz. She married Walter J. Hart on February 22, 1941. He predeceased her on June 23, 2000. Eva was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Elks Club #47 and the Washington Club. She was also a member of the Catholic Study Club and the Saginaw League of Catholic Women. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and going to the casino. Eva is survived by her two daughters and spouses; Nancy Bell, Carolyn (Jerry) Szafranski, all of Saginaw. Three grandsons and spouses; Ronald (Pauline) Bell of St. Charles, Jeffrey (Tonya) Szafranski of Portage, MI and Gregory (Heather) Szafranski of Torrance, CA. Also four great grandsons and one great granddaughter; Garret and Olivia Bell, Chase, Nolan, Ty Szafranski and Gordon Szafranski and many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sister and brother in law, Hazel and John Nickolai, brother Arthur and Virginia Marklevitz, and her son in law Thomas Bell. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 4735 W. Michigan Ave., Saginaw at 1:00pm. Family and friends are welcome to visit at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00pm. Fr. Steven M. Gavit will officiate with entombment in St. Andrew Cemetery. Memorials can be made to SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church or to Edgewood Assisted Living Center.
