passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 at age 80 years. Robert was born May 3, 1934 in Taymouth Township, Michigan to the late Gordon and Margaruetta Logan McDonagh. He married Barbara O'Brien on August 1, 1964. She predeceased him on October 5, 2013. He worked and retired from the Flint School system as a teacher. Robert served with the US Air Force, the US Navy and also as a Navy reservist for 20 years. He was a Major in the Civil Air Patrol. Robert is survived by his son John McDonagh, a daughter Shelly and Steve Rabinette, his brother Gordon A. and wife Joyce McDonagh, a sister Jean Pabalis, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandson Logan Rabinette and his cousin Stan Latesky. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 2-8pm and on Saturday from 11am until time of service at the McIntyre Funeral Chapel, 504 N. Michigan Ave. Funeral service will take place on Saturday at 12 Noon. Robert's nephew, Tom Adams, will officiate.

My condolences to the family of Bob McDonagh.I met Bob in the Naval reserve when I Joined up in February 1980.Bob and I loved the Navy and we shared many good times in the years that we served.We stayed good friends after we both retired from the Naval air reserve in the 1990s.I will truly miss Bob and will never forget the good memories I had with Bob in the navy.May God bless Bob McDonagh and his family.
