Whisman, Charles Jonas Saginaw Township, MichiganPassed away Tuesday 2-24-15 at home at age 68 years. Born and raised in Saginaw, Charles was married to Theresa Ann Fuller, who was the best blessing of his life, on November 10, 1977 for 37 years. Theresa took on the responsibility of four children, 3 children from a previous marriage and “Charles”:) They continued to grow the Whisman family with 2 more children. Charles had been employed by and retired from General Motors/Delphi. Charles was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, loved to walk at Center Courts, loved his Florida vacations and was a huge Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions fan. Surviving is his wife, Theresa Fuller Whisman. Children: Cheryl, Stephanie, Chuckie, Christopher and Chad. Grandchildren: Ernest, Andrea, Gabby, Joel, Nick, Monica & Alyssa. Great Grandchildren: Alena & Aleigha. Brothers & Sisters: Lillian Herbert, Sherman & wife Mary Whisman, Dinah & husband Jack Moltane, Bill & wife Iva Whisman, Reni & husband John Benkert, and Linda & husband Jeff Weeks. Also surviving are his 13 nieces and 17 nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 11:00 am at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Helen Church; 2445 N. Charles, Saginaw, MI. Family and friends are welcome to visit at the church on Monday from 10am until time of service. Fr. Ron Wagner will officiate.
