Evelyn Walters

Walters, Evelyn M.Saginaw, MichiganPassed away Saturday morning, May 2, 2015 at the Cartwright Hospice Residence at age 99 years. Evelyn was born in Saginaw on May 10, 1915 to the late Louis and Catherine Spero Duquette. She was married to Ashley Walters on August 21, 1937. He predeceased her on August 17, 1994. Evelyn worked for the Evenit Store of Saginaw and also at Weichman's of Saginaw, retiring as a salesperson. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Evelyn received her last five years of loving care at the Saginaw Geriatrics Home. Evelyn is survived by two daughters, a son and their spouses; Sharon and Howard Kuch of Saginaw, Susan and Gary Bruns of Scotts, Michigan and Charles and Dorothy Walters of Alanson, Michigan. Evelyn is also survived by nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and two sisters; Jean Lach and Janice and Don Lytle. She was predeceased by a daughter and son in law, Kathleen and Thomas Hart, a granddaughter Kerry Ann Hart and two sisters. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held
