Joan Frances Davis, 64, of Saginaw, passed away January 13, 2016, at Cartwright Hospice in Saginaw. She was born on October 25, 1951 to Paul and Emma Davis in Saginaw. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1969, and then worked at AT&T for 36 years. When she retired she vowed to never get up early again. Joan liked traveling with her twin sister Jean to visit family in Michigan and Minneapolis. Her great nephew said, “Thanks for going outside to play when no one else would.” Joan will be remembered as kind, quiet but funny, a loving aunt, sister and daughter.Joan is survived by her brother, Mike Davis; sister, Jean Seaver; nieces, Amy (Nick) Derry and Jane Seaver; nephew, Brad Davis; great nephew, Path Fillion; and Brandon Tester, who was like a son to Joan, also survived by her father, Paul (Joanne Psetas) Davis. She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Davis and brother in law Larry Seaver.Services and interment at Eastlawn Cemetery will be held privately.Memorials may be made to Cartwright Hospice, 3443 Hospital Road, Saginaw, MI 48603.

One of my favorite childhood memories is staying overnight with Joan and Jean to watch the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. Joan was a good friend. My condolences to the family.

To Joan's Family. I worked at AT&T with Joan and she was always a pleasure to be around. She shared her passion for collecting decorative knick knack shoes along with her family. She thought the world of all of you. We were all fortunate to have her part of our lives. My sincere sympathy to all of you for your loss.

Joan was a very nice sweet lady. My mother and her were good friends and neighbors. I spoke to Joan 5 months ago and she told me what was going on. Joan assured me she would tell my Mother Hello in Heaven and they would be great friends still, it's a good feeling knowing my mom has a friend up there :) My love goes out to her family and friends she will be missed.

So sorry to read that Joan is gone. I lived in Shields, and went to grade school, junior high and high school with Joan and Jean. Joan was a great girl. I know that she had to be an awesome woman!! Rest in Peace.
