Barbara Jean (Barnett) Stevens, age 87, of Saginaw, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Covenant HealthCare, in Saginaw, Michigan. She was born on March 9, 1938, to William Barnett and Camilla Keeler Barnett in Carrollton, Michigan.
Barb worked as a caregiver at a daycare center in Saginaw for many years. She loved taking care of other people and was always in the kitchen making food for those she loved. She was a follower of Christ and attended church often.
Barb is survived by her beloved children, Raymond J. Stevens, Albert (Michelle) Stevens, and Beverly Stevens; grandchildren, Ronald L. (Erica) Stevens III, Matthew (Kayla) Stevens, Andrew (Mandy) Stevens, Jason Stevens, Raymond J. Stevens, Jr., Kristy Stevens, Albert L. Stevens, Brandon (Genelle) Stevens, Joseph Stevens, Jeremy Stevens, AJ Stevens, Jr., Chelsea (Rogelio) Llaneza, Benjamin Stevens, and Julian (Nicole) Stevens; several great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kathy Stevens; siblings, Phil Barnett, Joseph Barnett, Debra Henne, and Terri Grifhost; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald LeRoy Stevens, Sr.; children, Dwight Stevens and Ronald L. Stevens, Jr.; granddaughter, Stephanie Stevens; parents, William and Camilla Barnett; brother, William Barnett, Jr.; sisters, Kay Krohn, Myrtle Richter, and Shirley Coy.
Memorial Visitation will take place Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of Service at 3:00 p.m. at Old Town Christian Outreach Center, 600 Gratiot Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602.
