Marlene Luptowski

Marlene L. Luptowski, age 76, formerly of Bay City, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 22, 2016. The daughter of Charles and Mary VanDeVyvere, Marlene was born August 20, 1939 in Bay City.After retiring from Bay County as a home health aide, Marlene devoted the later years of her life to being a loving mother and grandmother to her family. She had an independent soul and appreciated the simple things in life. Summer time often found her “treasure hunting” at local garage sales and flea markets, spending time outdoors, fishing, and picking wildflowers. Her love and kindness towards all animals (particularly her cat, Bella) was obvious to everyone who knew her. Marlene is survived by her sons, Kevin (Dawn) Luptowski and Danny (Phyllis) Luptowski; her grandchildren, Tyler and Garett Luptowski and Gabriel Grunow, Pearl and Carly Luptowski, and Chris and Matt (Erin) Luptowski; great-grandchild, Sophia; and her sister, Laura “Dee” (Conrad) Peters. She was preceded in death by her son, Bud Luptowski; her brother, Chuck VanDeVyvere, and her parents.Memorial Visitation will take place Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Services, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48602.
