Judith Ann Hannon

Judith “Judy” Ann Hannon, age 74, of Saginaw, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 27, 2016 at home. The daughter of Joseph and Antoinette Horonzy, Judy was born April 6, 1942 in Saginaw. She married Howard Hannon on July 20, 1963.Judy was a great cook and very creative baker. She loved to watch her stock market channel from opening bell to closing bell. Her ability to take things and create useful items were her enjoyment. Along with her family she loved going to the casino and trying her luck. Judy worked in real estate for many years and volunteered as a religious education teacher. The excitement she got from going to garage sales to find that "good deal" inspired her. She was a 30-year member of the local YMCA. Throughout her years as a member, she gained several close friends and pool buddies.Judy is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Howard Hannon; son, Robert (Pam) Hannon and daughter, Karri McKenna; grandchildren, Kelsey (Russel) Van Sipe, Kacee McKenna, Brianna McKenna, and Michael McKenna; step grandchildren, Blake (Julie) Cappell and Blair (Cary) Johnson; great granddaughter, Annabelle Van Sipe; step great grandchildren, Kayden and Lincoln Cappell and Brysen and Hartleigh Johnson; siblings, Jimmy (Barb) Horonzy, Joann Novak, Jean Ugartechea, Mary Rocha, and Timothy (Judy) Horonzy. Judy was preceded in death by her parents and by her siblings, Jerry (Ramona) Horonzy, Joseph (Gretchen), and Peter Horonzy.Visitation will take place Thursday, June 30, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602. Visitation will continue Friday, July 1, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church Site of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, 612 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602. Rev. Fr. Ronald Wagner will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.Memorials in Judy's name may be made to the Mission Dell Sisters, 1030 North River Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48609 or to the Ecumenical Food Pantry of First Presbyterian Church, 121 S.
