Robert B. Crofoot

Robert B. “Bob” Crofoot Jr, age 73, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit surrounded by family.He was born on July 15, 1942, to Robert Sr. and Merle Crofoot in Owosso, Michigan. Bob was a big fan of Detroit sports, loved car rides with his brother to St. Charles, Saturday dinners with family, spending time with his grandchildren, and enjoyed the scenic view of Long Lake in Harrison. A high point in Bob's life was taking trips in 2012 with his children and grandchildren to White Birch.Bob is survived by his loving daughter, Becky (James) Moore; cherished grandchildren, Chevelle Crofoot, Christian Moore and James Moore II; dear brother, Richard Crofoot; three nieces, seven nephews; several great nieces, and nephews, many cousins; and his former wife, M.J. Crofoot.He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Crofoot III; sister, Sally (Larry) Clements, and his parents.Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, May 30, 2016, from 1:00 p.m., until the time of Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m., at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan, 48602. Rev. Kevin Ricklefs will officiate.Interment will be held privately.Bob's family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the Covenant SICU Unit, especially Liz, Jeff, Jacki, and Nick.
