Irene Salinas

Irene Vlandina Salinas, age 66, of Saginaw passed away, Sunday, May 15, 2016 in Saginaw. She was born on January 29, 1950, to Francisco and Josephine Llamas in Saginaw, they both survive her.Irene is also survived by her loving husband, Lazaro Salinas; children, Sabrina Llamas, Demetria Morales, Rebecca (Chris Vaughn) Morales, Zane Salinas, Lazaro Salinas, Christina Salinas, Nicholas Salinas, Antonio Salinas, Aurelia Salinas, Fabian (Rosanna) Salinas, and Rodney Salinas; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Linda Llamas-Rangel (Alfredo), Victor (Donna) Llamas, Susan (Jesse) Gonzales, Sylvia (John) Fossen, Maria (Paul) Borle, Dyanna (Arthur Fields) Llamas, and Mario (Kristy) Llamas; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Francisco Llamas Jr., and sister, Angelita “Angie” Gomez.Irene loved cooking for her family and friends. She enjoyed playing blackjack at the casino, working outside in her flower garden, and decorating her home for the holidays. Memorials may be made directly to the family.Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 18th, 2016, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m., at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602.
