Robert Lunning

Robert D. Lunning, age 87, of Saginaw, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 22, 2016. The son of August F. and Margaret M. Lunning, Robert was born on November 17, 1928 in Saginaw.Robert retired after 35 years with the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier. Robert is survived by his loving children, Randy (Pamela) Lunning, Joseph Lunning, Andrew Lunning and his best buddy, Lauren Lunning; adoring grandchildren, Kris, Nick, Stephanie, Evan, Justin (Elizabeth), Sara, and Marcus; great grandchildren, Iris and Harvey; a special niece, Patricia Retell, along with several dear nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 38 years, Joan Lunning; his parents; his siblings, Ray Lunning, Laverne Lunning, and Marilyn Sexson.Visitation will be held Friday, August 5, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602.
