Obituary
Nancy E. Luger, age 78, of Saginaw, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2016. The daughter of the late Frederick, M.D., and Dorothea (Anderson) Luger, Nancy was born September 29, 1937 in Saginaw and taught school in Saginaw for 43 years.Nancy is survived by her brother, William (Kay) Luger; her nephew, Frederick (Karen) Luger; great nieces and nephews; dear friends, Trina Elvin, Dianne Francoeur, and Patricia Clouthier. Visitation will be held Friday, September 9, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48602. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Saginaw. Memorials in Nancy's name may be made to the Sisters of Loretto, 515 Nerinx Road, Nerinx, KY 40049.

So sorry for your loss of Nancy! She was my son Jasons 1st grade teacher. If it wasn't for her Jason would never have gotten tested for a learning disability. She was a great careing teacher, easy to talk to and she listened to all of your concerns. She will be missed by all of her students and her family, with deepest sympathy! Suzanne Merrill
