Sally Jane Ferguson, age 91, of Saginaw, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 28, 2016.The daughter of John Brown and Elizabeth Kumbier, Sally was born December 22, 1925 in Saginaw. She married James N. Ferguson on May 9, 1953. He preceded her in death on December 22, 1988.Sally loved the outdoors, gardening, golf, dancing, music, babies and children, and especially her family. She was a talented quilter and experienced the great joy of making friends throughout her life.Sally is survived by her loving children, Brian (Lynn) Ferguson, Mollie (Jessica Hough) Ferguson, and Tom (Greg Johnson) Ferguson; grandchildren, Kari (Gabe) Aldrich, Sara (John) LeBlanc, Scot Ferguson, Erin (Eric Shawbitz) Ferguson, Maggie Ferguson, William Dupuis, and Robert Dupuis; great grandchildren, Mason and Maylee Aldrich, Jack and Owen LeBlanc; daughter in law, Patti Ferguson; sisters in law, Jessie Trommer and Helen Christiansen; many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her children, James A. Ferguson and Nancy (Tom) Dupuis; her parents; brother, Pastor Robert Brown; sisters, Jean (Don) Leaman and Kathleen (Edward) Elsner.Visitation will be held Monday, January 2, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Ave., Saginaw, MI 48602.Burial will be held privately at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Avielle Haven, 2760 E. Yoder Dr., Midland, MI 48640.The family wishes to thank the entire staff of Avielle Haven for the attention and kindness extended to Sally, and very special thanks to Rachel Mader for her love and care over the years.

Dear Lynn, Brian, Mollie and Tom and all the grandchildren. We sure do have a lot of memories together. The parties we have had and all the Shrine events and remember our families camping up in Au Gras? Sally and Jean and Kathleen were good swimming buddies for years.
