Christopher “Cowboy” Morgan Gilbert, age 52, of Saginaw, passed away, Thursday, March 27, 2025 at My Michigan Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan.
Chris loved working on cars and being outdoors, either fishing or hunting. He had a passion for caring for animals. His grandchildren were the love of his life, and he cherished spending time with his family and friends.
Chris was born on June 13, 1972, to Dale and Shiela Gilbert in Saginaw, Michigan.
He is survived by his beloved children, Andrew Gilbert, Ashley (Luther) Kirkland, Justin Gilbert, Isabella Patterson, and Lyric Patterson, Elizabeth Trenerry and her four children; grandchildren, Issabella, Christopher Jr., Laden, Amelia, Abigayle, Louis, Anabelle, Logan, and Addilyn, Alaina; dear siblings, Carrie (Walid Maseoud) Sparkes, and Andrea (James) Beecher; his mother, Sheila (Andrew) Sparkes; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Dale Gilbert.
Memorial visitation will take place from 10a.m. until the time of service at 11a.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Shield of Faith, 10322 Swan Creek Rd, Saginaw, MI 48609.
