Joshua Thomas Grobaski, age 33, of Saginaw, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017.
The son of Thomas and Sherry Grobaski, Josh was born on June 2, 1984, in Saginaw.
Josh was an avid fisherman who especially loved fishing with his best friend, Stephen. Josh was active with the Special Olympics by participating in sports with his friends and having been selected as a Global Messenger. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and he was an Eagle Scout with Troop 377. Josh loved traveling, was always up for an adventure, enjoyed the little things in life, and was the most gentle, sweet, and loving soul.
Joshua is survived by his beloved parents, Tom and Sherry; his loving brother, Alex; cherished uncles and aunts, Ric Roberts (Jeremiah Kraniak), Cindy (Mike) Moranec, and John (Shannon) Roberts; many cousins; dear friends, Tammy and Bob Treib and Family; and his two best friends, Stephen Ray and Joel Richardson.
Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Agatha Grobaski and Richard and Ida Roberts, Aunt Debbie Lown, sister in law, Erin Grobaski, and his cousin, Caitlyn Roberts.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48602.
Visitation will continue on Sunday, June 25, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Liturgy at 3:00 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, 123 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48602. Rev. Fr. Curt Norman will officiate.
Memorials in Josh's name may be made to Area 22 Special Olympics, 5355 S. Glen Oak Drive, Saginaw, Michigan 48603.
