Kay A. Dillon, age 80, of Saginaw, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, in Saginaw.
The daughter of Joseph and Anna Kenny, Kay was born on August 24, 1936, in Saginaw.
Kay worked for the Saginaw County Sheriff's Department for 21 years. Following retirement, she became a member of the Saginaw County Retirees. She was also a volunteer at Covenant Healthcare Hospital, and a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church throughout her life.
Kay is survived by her loving children, Colleen (Joe) Antal and Michelle Dillon; grandson, Joshua Dillon; siblings, Tom (Carol) Kenny and Kathleen (Richard) Baker; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will take place on Monday, June 5, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 3680 S. Washington Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48601.
Burial will be held privately at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials in Kay's name may be made to the East Side Soup Kitchen, Post Office Box 330, Saginaw, Michigan 48606.

Kay and I were friends since first grade at Hess School and through our bus rides into town to our various schools. Had many good times together at the B & G restaurant and with all our friends in Spaulding Twp. Our parents gathered with others in school
events and dances and boy friends, birthday parties at each of our houses. Fun!!

Colleen, I just saw that your sweet mother passed away. I'm so sorry. Miss Kay was such a fun lady. I remember all the fun times we had back in the 70's. All the great conversations we had at 208 Harrison. Remembering will kept our hearts strong and full of love.

So sorry for your loss of your Mother. She was a volunteer of mine at Covenant Harrison awhile ago. Always enjoyed working with her, she was a great volunteer and she always had lots of stories to tell me and to lend a good ear to me. Will miss her smiling face and her happy attitude.
