Emerson Ad Gardner Jr., age 76, of Saginaw, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017, in Bay City. He was born on July 9, 1941, to Emerson and Mary Gardner, in Boyne City, Michigan.
Emerson married Carol Allen on October 11, 1969, in Vassar. Emerson was a hard worker who always put his family first. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bottle looking, scrapping, working on vehicles and helping others. Most of all, Emerson loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Carol Gardner; children, Sheri (Glen) French, Jeff Gardner, and Dawn Foust; grandchildren, Daniel French (fiancée Macie Radecki), Ashley French, Glen French III, Megan French, Bionca Foust, Jayla Foust and Bentley Foust; brothers, Joseph (Bonnie) Gardner and Bruce (the late Leann) Gardner; sister, Dorothy (the late William) Fler; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Robin Glen Club House, 5720 E. Washington Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48601.
