Obituary
Paul Davis, age 90, of Saginaw, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 26, 2017, at Cartwright Hospice Residence.
The son of Robert and Frances Davis, Paul was born on April 18, 1927, in Muskegon, Michigan. He married Emma Brady on September 1, 1949. She preceded him in death in 1993. He married Joanne McIntyre Psetas on November 29, 2002.
Paul was a security guard at Grey Iron Foundry for 33 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Paul was a Shriner with the St. Charles Lodge, a member of the Knights of Columbus, past member of the Washington Club, and an avid golfer, bowler, and woodworker. He always loved a good book and a challenging crossword puzzle.
Paul is survived by his wife, Joanne McIntyre Psetas; his children, Mike Davis and Jean Seaver. His daughter, Joan Frances Davis, preceded him in death. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Julie, Jodie, Jamie, and Nick; grandchildren, Amy, Jane, and Brad; many dear friends and family. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48602. Visitation will continue Wednesday, November 29, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Dominic Parish, St. Stephen Catholic Church, 2711 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48602. Rev. Fr. Bill Taylor will officiate. Interment will take place at Eastlawn Cemetery, Saginaw.
Memorials in Paul's name may be given to St. Dominic Parish - St. Stephen Catholic Church, care of the church.
