Obituary
Marcella Oldeck Scherping, age 88, of Saginaw, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. The daughter of the late Anna Skeltis and Thomas Oldeck, Marcella was born on July 20, 1929, in Saginaw. She married Clarence Kenneth Scherping, a 50 year design engineer, BP & APV. He preceded her in death.
Marcy was a graduate nurse of the Saginaw General School, a summa cum laude graduate of the first class at Saginaw Valley College, as well as the University of Michigan. Her career as a psychologist was at the Westland Child Guidance Clinic and in private practice.
Marcy is survived by her of family of friends, Georgia Egan, Francoise Bonnardot, and Drs. Pamela and Thomas Renna; close cousins, Connie Kotulionas and Frank and Tina Gulczinski.
Ultimate quality of life care was provided at Saginaw Senior Care & Rehabilitation.

To the Family of Friends of Mrs. Scherping. I read with sadness of Mrs. Sherping's passing. She was a very special client of my husband, Dr. Bill Boudreau, her pet's veterinarian. I know how much she appreciated Bill's compassion for her animals and their friendship that grew between them. Perhaps now they can pick up where they left off -- talking about beloved pets. I am certain you all are missing your dear friend.
