Obituary
Danielle Marie Bugenske (neé Schlicker), our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister,
granddaughter, niece, aunt and friend, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on
Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the age of 35. The daughter of Jerry and Sharon
(Willman) Schlicker, Danielle was born August 29, 1989, in Bay City, Michigan.
Danielle graduated from Bay City Western High School in 2007 and went on to obtain
her bachelor's degree from Northwood University. She married Justin Bugenske on
August 29, 2015, and together they had 3 beautiful children. Danielle was most recently
employed with Dow Chemical Company as a Senior Account Representative. Danielle
enjoyed cooking, baking, grilling, traveling, especially trips to Moab, Utah and Disney,
and her newest hobby was tending to her chickens. She treasured time spent at her
family's cabin, especially when trail riding. Her greatest love in life was being a mother,
wife, and daughter to her family.
Danielle is survived by her loving husband, Justin Bugenske; adored children, Nolan,
Aiden, and Rowan Bugenske; cherished parents, Jerry and Sharon Schlicker; dear
sibling, Matthew (Elle) Schlicker and in-laws, Briann (P.J.) Foster; niece and nephews,
Henry and Lucas Schlicker, Ainsley and Cameron Foster; grandmother, Loretta
Schlicker; parents in law, Lynn and Todd Bugenske; several cousins and friends,
including her dear friends, Stacy (Jay) Schlicker and Jay (Traci) Loy. She was preceded
in death by grandparents, Larry Schlicker, Donald and Shirley Willman, Chris and Lois
Smith, and Tom and Sandy Bugenske.
Memorial visitation will take place Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until the time
of Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 3427 Adams Avenue,
Saginaw, MI 48602. Pastors Erik Schmidt and Matthew Hauser will officiate.
Memorials in honor of Danielle may be made to Peace Lutheran School, care of the
church.
