Edward “Ed” Calvin Lamblin, Sr., age 81, of Saginaw passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018.
He was born on November 2, 1936, to Herman and Elizabeth Lamblin in Saginaw.
Ed is survived by his loving children, Margaret (Scott) Goushaw and Edward (Sandra) Lamblin, Jr.; beloved grandchildren, Brandon Goushaw, Joshua Goushaw, and Natalie Carrion; many nieces and nephews, including, Eugene Lamblin, Scott (Jenny) Lamblin, Kevin (Erica) Lamblin, David Strudgeon, and Sean (Melissa) Strudgeon; Ed's significant other, Charlene Lamblin; his former wife, Elizabeth Lamblin; siblings, Patricia (the late Everett) Borske, Jean (the late Ed) Giffor, Leola Bitterman, Jim (Mary) Lamblin, Nancy (the late Welcome) Colver, Catherine (the late David) Garrison, Janet (the late Raymond) Strudgeon and Eugene Lamblin; dear friends, Paul Kennedy and his cousin, Jim (Rosie) Gibbons.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Clarence (Rose) Lamblin, Joyce Wenzel, and Albert (Gloria) Lamblin Sr.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2018, at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602. Visitation will continue from 9:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life Service at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 12, 2018, at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Saginaw.

I am so sorry for your loss. Ed was an amazing man no matter how far apart the times were that we seen him he still treated us like we never spent time apart. He taught my brother a ton about fixing cars. He always made us smile. You will never be forgotten!

Uncle Ed was one of my favorite uncles I remember many days of visiting him out in the garage with my dad and then my family he was so smart when it came to fixing cars I only wish life hadn't got so busy for us that I would have been able to spend more time with him these last few years.I will miss him a lot Love you Uncle Ed.

Ed you ment alot to our family was there through everything.graduations babies weddings. You were one of my dads best friends.....but you were more then our friend youu are family. Sending prayers to family and friends so sorry for your loss. He was a great man
