Cameron Ashley

Obituary
Cameron “Cam” Lyn Ashley, age 22, of Saginaw, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018. The son of Jeff and Audrey Ashley, Cam was born May 29, 1996, in Saginaw, Michigan.
During Cam's short life on earth he experienced more than most do in a lifetime. His success in hockey took him on travels all over the world. Cam was known on the ice as one tough customer, but his fondest memories were of his teammates, coaches and billet families. He had many stories of each of you and always a kind word about everyone. Cam's infectious smile lit up a room and sense of humor sometimes left you scratching your head.
Our proudest memories is the time we spent with you as our son. You will live on through all the lives you have touched.
Cam is survived by his loving parents, Jeff and Audrey Ashley; brother, Brandon Ashley; grandparents, Diane and Gary Ashley, Susie Theisen and Jim Theisen, and David and Bonnie Kelley; aunts, uncles and close friends.
Visitation will take place Monday, July 30, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Tuesday, July 31, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48602.

While none of us have had the opportunity to meet Cam, Jeff has always been excited to share with us the latest news about his kids. We’ve heard all about the games he played, the biggest brawls he got into, and so many stories about Cam that he always told with a proud, beaming smile on his face. The news of this loss has crushed us all, and we can’t possibly express our sympathies enough. Jeff, the boys are here for you brother.

Our son, Sean, played hockey with Cam in Midland, MI. Cam played up, yet I had never seen a kid handle a puck like Cam did. He was a joy to watch and a joy to have on the team. So sad! We are sending our deepest felt thoughts and prayers for Cam's family.

Jeff & family,
So saddened to hear of the loss of your son, Cam. Why life takes these twists and turns we may never know in this life time. Please be assured Kelly and I are keeping you all in our prayers.

because he trusteth in thee.
