Jean Thomas

Jean Ann (nee Branch) Thomas passed away peacefully Friday, October 5, 2018 at Hoyt Nursing and Rehab, just six weeks shy of her 89th birthday. She was born Nov. 17, 1929 in Saginaw, the daughter of Helen L. (nee Whalen, later Limberg) and James S. Branch. She was a 1948 graduate of Arthur Hill High School, had a long career in wholesale grocery sales and merchandising, was very active in the VFW Post 1566 Auxiliary and was a longtime member of Calvary Episcopal Church. She is survived by her son James Braley (Melodie) of Norco, CA; nephews Scott (Julie) and Greg (Ann) Branch; niece Karen (John) Kujawa and their children. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband of 29 years, Donald R. Thomas; her brother Robert (Lynne) Branch; and her son Donovan R. Braley.

Cremation has taken place. She will be interred during a Gravesite Service, Friday, October 26th, 2018, at 3:00p.m., at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 950 N. Center Road, Saginaw, MI. The Rev. Dr. Pamela Renna will officiate.
