Obituary
Monica M. Luplow, age 94, of Saginaw entered into eternal life on Thursday, October 11, 2018, in Saginaw. The daughter of Clarence and Mary Nielsen, Monica was born on March 22, 1924, in Detroit. She married Robert Luplow on November 29, 1947. He preceded her in death on March 23, 1994.
Monica was a lifelong member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, joyfully serving in many capacities over the years. She deeply loved her family, her cottage and being up north, and playing games. Inspired by her youngest daughter, Janice, Monica was an active supporter and voluntary promoter of organizations that helped children with special needs, a cause that was near and dear to her heart.
Monica is survived by her children, Patricia (Jim) Roethlisberger, Thomas (Trish) Luplow, Joseph (Karen) Luplow, Mary Kay (Greg) Chisholm, and Daniel (Kathy) Luplow; grandchildren, AnnMarie Beutel, Tricia Kopp, Sarah (Brad) Ziegelmann, Kristen (Jim) Ralph, Susan (Cortney) Byron, Amy Luplow, Joseph (Laurie) Luplow, Colleen (Anthony) Scagnetti, Matthew (Patti) Chisolm, Kelly (Matthew) Gifford, Melissa Luplow, Michelle (Steve) Bonanno, Jim Rivette, and Kristine (Ben) Foley; 21 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Monica was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Luplow; her daughter, Janice Luplow; her grandson, Mark Luplow; and her siblings, Robert Nielsen, Ruth Nielsen Buggia, and Richard Nielsen.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Andrew Church site of Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 612 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602. Rev. Fr. Ronald Wagner will officiate. Interment will take place at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery, Saginaw.

Our Thoughts and Prayers go out to the Luplow Family. Pat, your Mom was a Great Lady. We sat next to Janice and your Mom at Church for many years. Janice and David were close friends.
