Obituary
Jerry Lee Howell, age 73, of Saginaw, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. The son of Albert and Irene Howell, Jerry was born on December 17, 1944.
Jerry was a truck driver with Darling International for 30 years, during which he drove 1.5 million miles throughout the State of Michigan. He was a faithful member of Saginaw Valley Community Church, and a former member and avid volunteer at Bethel Chapel and Saginaw Wesleyan Church. Jerry loved camping, bowling, and tinkering with his electric model trains.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of nearly 55 years, Carol Howell; his children, Joe Howell and Jim (Wendy) Howell; grandchildren, J.D. Howell, Trevor Howell, Allie Howell, and Kaylee Farnsworth; siblings, Bob (Melanie) Johnson and Mary (John) Knack; many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings.
A Memorial Service for Jerry will be held at 12:00p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Saginaw Valley Community Church, 3660 Hermansau Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603.

I can say of my friend that I will greatly miss him. If I may borrow a line from the movie “The last Samurai” “Can you tell me how he died? I will tell you how HE LIVED” Jerry loved/lived Jesus.
