Favourite memories include long walks after a holiday turkey, playing euchre, receiving dolls from Korea, a custom collection of pictures he sent to each niece and nephew showing them from childhood to adults; seeing us through his eyes, and lastly his arrival to a family holiday in his ever present Ford.

Hey Erv---
Remember the old days, back in the 40's and 50's when we ran around together with your brothers, Merv, Ralph and Ken-always in near trouble such as jumping railroad freight cars and taking a free short trip or simply "running the neighborhood". Best days of my life! for sure!. How we ever survived them, I will never know. Our parents never knew what was going on.
We will miss you. Thank you for your service to our country and a life well spent. Our sympathy to your family. Some day we will meet again!
Regards,
Devere (cousin) and Ruth Engelhardt
