Dane Harland Taylor, age 51, of Orange, California, formerly of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on January 31, 2019.
The son of Gary and Jeanette Taylor, Dane was born September 11, 1967, in Warren, Michigan.
Dane graduated from Valley Lutheran High School, Saginaw, Michigan, in 1986. He went directly into the Navy where he served as a sonar operator and technician aboard a nuclear submarine. After he left the Navy, Dane worked for UPS in Los Angeles until an injury forced him to retire early.
Dane is survived by his wife of 19 years, Christina; his parents, Gary and Jeanette Taylor; sisters, Jennifer (David) McClure and Stephanie (Jeffrey) Davis; nieces, Elizabeth (Jacob) DeKarske and Ariel McClure; nephews, Ryan McClure and Anthony Davis; grandnephews, Jonathan and Jethro DeKarske; and loving aunts, uncles and cousins and their families.
Dane was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harland and Louise Newman and Robert and Lorraine Taylor.
Memorial Visitation will take place Saturday, May 25, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m., at Peace Lutheran Church, 3427 Adams Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602. Pastor Robert Eggers will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Valley Lutheran High School or Peace Lutheran School.
