Obituary

Michael William Frame was born on December 1, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, and he died on May 16, 2025, in Midland.

Michael was the first child of Jessie Bainbridge Frame and William Frame Junior. He grew up in Detroit with his 2 brothers, Douglas and Peter, and his younger sister, Cindy. After high school he joined the Army and was stationed at Fort Richardson in Alaska for 2 years. While stationed there, he watched Alaska achieve statehood and he met Dwight D. Eisenhower. From there he was stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas where he met his eventual wife, Judith, at a pool party. Judy was working for Civil Service with her mother. The two eventually married on November 4,1961. After the wedding, Michael and Judy moved to Detroit and lived close to family for about 3 years. Michael worked as a line supervisor at a Chevrolet plant. The two eventually moved back to El Paso and lived there for several years. On May 1, 1971, their son Stephen was born, and a year later they moved to the Dallas / Fort Worth where Michael found a job in sales at Amerigas Corporation. From there he accepted a transfer with the same company and the family moved to Oklahoma City in 1976, where they lived for 3 years. While there, he attended classes at Oklahoma City University and eventually earned a degree in business. In 1980, the family moved back to Dallas / Fort Worth and settled in Arlington, where they lived for many years. Michael worked for various companies around the area, usually in sales, but some were in real estate. At one point he even started his own commercial real estate company for a short time called Frame Properties. Finally, in the early 2000's, Michael retired from Southwest Freight and entered retirement. Michael and Judy remained in Arlington for another 20 years until they eventually moved to Midland in April of 2022. Michael and Judy have been members of First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth for over 40 years. The two have reserved a final resting spot in the church's Columbarium, where they will remain with the church forever.

Michael is survived by his wife Judith; his son Stephen and his wife Jennifer; and their two children Benjamin and Megan; his brother Doug, and his sister Cindy.
