Obituary
Carlene Ruth Griffore, age 81, of St. Charles, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2019. The daughter of David and Elsie Klouse, Carlene was born on July 28, 1938, in Saginaw, Michigan.
Carlene loved playing scrabble, however she was notorious for cheating during the game. She had a penchant for donuts and a McDonald's cheeseburger with fries. She adored her loving husband, Thomas D. Griffore III, with whom she celebrated 48 years of marriage the year he died. Carlene was a dedicated mother to her children and provided a loving, safe and nurturing home for their upbringing. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Christ was always at the center of the Griffore household.
Carlene is survived by her children, Thomas D. (Lisa) Griffore, IV, Brian (Rachel) Griffore, David (Lulu) Griffore, Rob (Jocelenn) Griffore, and Gretchen (Bill) Mallory; grandchildren, Josiah (Melissa) Griffore, Hannah Griffore, Nathan Griffore, and Marah Griffore, Emily (Kyle) Pennell, Amy Griffore, Matthew Griffore (Rachel Larsen), Mary Griffore, Brittany Ifft (fiancé Caleb Rathbun), Chelsie (Jordan) Spisok, Trevor Ifft, and Tanner Ifft, Lindsay Griffore, Cortney (Brian) Schmidt, Erin (Ben) Arnst, Ashton (Colton) Rogers, and Lauren Mallory; great grandchildren, Malachi, Lazarus, Calvary, and Jubilee Pennell, Kellan and Lilly Spisok, and Gabriel Arnst; sisters, Ardith Wroblewski, Gayle Jones, Karen (Dick) Sommers, and Glenna (Rod) Iamurri; sister in law, Gail Kerridge; brother in law, Glen (Liz) Griffore.
Carlene was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Griffore III in 2007 and her parents.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, August 20, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48602. Rev. Christina Johnson will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery, Saginaw.

love Jesus with all her heart and soul and was a great mentor to me in my life . She's with Jesus now and with your dad . She will be greatly miss but never forgotten by me she was funny and loved Jesus and her family. We would have there to say our Goodbye.
