Clifford Jackson

Major Clifford Jackson Jr. devoted twenty plus years of military service in the United States Army and Army Reserves. Clifford slipped away from us suddenly during this holiday season. He will always be remembered for his keen wit, great sense of humor and enthusiasm for military history. A devoted and loving father; he leaves behind his son, Adrian Jackson, his daughter Ashley Jackson, and the love of his life, Diane Benn Jackson; several cousins and a host of friends.

His passions were listening to jazz, "sharing stories with family and friends", architecture, landscaping, world and current events, and cooking Southern Style foods. Every meal was always served with lots of love. You are truly missed. Clifford had a great appreciation and vigor for refined living and its attributes. His mantra was "Never skimp or take shortcuts. Slow and steady wins the race."

Clifford is an alumnae of Prairie View A&M University and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. His studies in Economics led to a long term career in commercial underwriting within the insurance industry for which he achieved licensed certifications and many other awards. His favorite color was Blue.
