Cheryl Ann Blodgett, age 62, of Saginaw, passed away Saturday November 2, 2019. She was born on April 18, 1957, to Arthur and Geraldine Schultz in Saginaw.
Cheryl is survived by her sons, James Gatz, and his children, and Branden Doyle and his son, Branden Doyle Jr.; her daughter, Alicia Doyle; siblings, Donald Schultz and Arthur Schultz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orison Riley Blodgett, in 2013, and by her parents. Cheryl enjoyed playing scratch offs and seemed to always have good luck.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 8, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48602. Burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
Memorials in honor of Cheryl may be made to her family.

Sister Cheryl,
“In tears we saw you sinking,
We saw you fade away.
You suffered much in silence,
You fought so hard to stay.
You faced your task with courage,
Your spirit did not bend.
