Theresa “Snooks” Maxine Reed, age 73, of Saginaw, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019.
The daughter of Edward and Violet (nee Pussehl) Thornton, Theresa was born on April 7, 1946, in Saginaw, Michigan.
Theresa was a devout member of the Lutheran church and loved her faith. She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat, and she had a special talent for crocheting and knitting.
Theresa is survived by her siblings, Raymond (Jane) Thornton, Frieda (Steve) Mason, Joyce Tolasch, Stanley (the late Leona) Thornton, Margaret Armstrong, Brenda (Mike) Mason, Edward (the late Kathy) Thornton, Paul (Barb) Thornton, and Darlene (Kris) Wise; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; dear family friend, James Kozak. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Janet Reed; and two nieces, Melissa Thornton and Cathleen Kozak.
Visitation will take place Thursday, October 24, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48602. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Saginaw. Rev. James Krueger will officiate.
