Aiden Owens
December 15, 2012 - March 26, 2020
Obituary
Aiden Alexander Owens, age 7, of Saginaw, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, March 26, 2020, while surrounded by his loving family. The son of Christopher and Amanda Owens, Aiden was born on December 15, 2012, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Aiden started out his life as a fighter. He was born with a special heart that had an extraordinary love for life. If you got the chance to meet Aiden, you knew his love by the radiance of his smile. He was always smiling and laughing. Whenever someone said that Aiden wouldn't be able to do something, he proved them wrong. The doctors said that his special heart would keep him from growing, from being filled with energy, and from having an appetite. Aiden grew so fast, ate so much, and had so much energy he could outlast the energizer bunny.
Aiden's love for Jesus was evident in all that he did. He looked forward to church where he could worship with his friends. He would belt out worship songs in the car, in his room, and even in the shower.
Aiden loved family nerf wars, game nights with friends, sleepovers, dance parties, and his puppies. He made sure our camping trips were full of swimming, fishing, and so many laughs. He would wake us up before the sun to watch cartoons, spend his days running through the house full speed ahead, jumping on the trampoline, and playing video games.
When Aiden got to meet Chief Robbins for the first time, he wanted to be just like him so that he could help people. His dream came true when Chief Robbins made him an honorary police officer.
Aiden was a superhero from the beginning. He had a special heart that gave him power like Iron Man. He wanted to be as strong as the Hulk and as fast as the Flash. He wanted to be like Superman because that's how he saw Daddy. One thing is for certain, Aiden is better than all of them combined and will always be our favorite superhero.
Aiden is survived by his loving parents, Christopher and Amanda Owens; his adoring siblings, Cara Mia Morris, Patricia Natalie Morris, Noah Mikal Peterson, and Jessica Ann Peterson; his grandparents, Pat and Barb Morris, Brian and Lisa Woods, and Jeff and Theresa Owens; his aunt and uncle, Jessica and Timothy Volker; cousins, Jienne, Jocelyn, Austin, and Lily; great aunts and uncles, Hector and Carol Morris-Mier, Bill and Glor Gringhuis; great-grandfather, James Van Camp; and all of the friends Aiden has made along the way.
Out of concern for the health and well-being of family and friends, services for Aiden will be private. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Saginaw.
Memorials in honor of Aiden may be made to the Jayden Lamb Memorial Foundation, Post Office Box 1083, Midland, Michigan 48641 or to the ChadTough Foundation, Post Office Box 907, Saline, Michigan 48176.
