Obituary
Marion C. Kuch (formerly Marion C. Furtaw), of Saginaw Township, loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020, age 87.
The daughter of Lawrence and Ottilia (Boensch) Fuhrhop, Marion was born October 29, 1932, in St. Charles, Michigan. She married Donald Furtaw on April 24, 1954. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1988. She then married Albert Kuch on October 4, 1997. He preceded her in death on November 29, 2005. Marion was a member of Faith Evangelical Church. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, camping, and treasured time spent with her family.
Marion is survived by her children, Karen (Don) Maxson and Duane (Melissa) Furtaw; daughter-in-law, Jodie Furtaw; seven grandchildren, Joshua (Ellie) Furtaw, Jill Periard, Jaime (Eric) Blankendaal, Kaitlyn (Joey) Voss, Matthew Periard, Michelle Furtaw, and Thadd (Mariah) Furtaw; nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Penny Fuhrhop; four step-sons, James Kuch, Tom (Richelle) Kuch, Dave (Jane) Kuch, and Jeff (Amy) Kuch, and their families; special friend, Bernard Groll; many nieces nephews, and friends.
Marion was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Furtaw; husband, Albert Kuch; her son, David Furtaw; her sister, Lorena DeLong; and her brother, Larry Fuhrhop.
Memorial Visitation will take place Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until time of Eulogy Service at 2:00 p.m., at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48602. Duane Furtaw will officiate. In accordance with current state mandated restrictions, social distancing and limitations on number gathered within the building will be observed. Attendees are also kindly asked to wear a mask or other facial covering while inside the funeral home, per state requirements.
