Obituary
Judith “Judy” Mary Peterson, age 81, of Bay City, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020. The daughter of Harold and Frances Bushey, Judith was born on October 11, 1938, in Goodrich, Michigan. She married Richard Peterson on July 9, 1964, in Saginaw.
Judith was an avid volunteer and enjoyed spending much of that time with the Bay Arts Council and the Friendship Shell. She loved going to the casino with her husband, Richard. Judith was a jovial person by nature, had a wonderful sense of humor, and loved telling jokes. She loved to travel and also loved receiving calls and visits from her family, friends, and sorority sisters.
Judith is survived by her loving husband, Richard Peterson; son, Paul (Andrea) Peterson; grandchildren, Joshauah Jacob, Katelynn Jacob, Elizabeth Peterson, and Schroder Peterson; great-grandchildren, Asher Jacob, Elliana Jacob, and Bo Griffiths. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Entombment will take place on Thursday, October 22, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at Oakwood Mausoleum, 5950 Gratiot Road, Saginaw, MI 48638.

Prayers to the family. Judy was a really beautiful person. I know she with be missed dearly by Dick, Paulie(as she called him years ago) and her entire family. Heaven gained a true angel. RIP Judy.

I will miss Judy’s positive outlook on life! Even through out her cancer journey she always had something good to say. I’ll miss her notes and newspaper clippings and her silly jokes. I’ll especially miss her “Okie dokie Smoky” after each conversation.

I will miss having you and uncle Dick at the family reunion and catching up on old times. I have great memories visiting and hanging out with my cousins growing up while our parents played cards.
