Obituary
Richard “Dick” Alfred Peterson, age 85, of Bay City, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020. The son of Charles and Mildred Peterson, Dick was born on September 12, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan. He married Judith Bushey on July 9, 1964, in Saginaw.
Dick was a veteran and served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Shangri-La. Dick enjoyed trips to the casino with his wife, Judith. He loved taking his daily walks, ballroom dancing, and golfing.
Dick is survived by his son, Paul (Andrea) Peterson; grandchildren, Joshauah Jacob, Katelynn Jacob, Elizabeth Peterson, and Schroder Peterson; great-grandchildren, Asher Jacob, Elliana Jacob, and Bo Griffiths. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Peterson on October 19, 2020, and his parents. Dick was also preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Charles Peterson and Patricia Cramer.
Entombment time and date are pending at Oakwood Mausoleum, 5950 Gratiot Road, Saginaw, MI 48638.
