Obituary
Eva Elizabeth Light, age 104, of Saginaw, formerly of Highland, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. The daughter of Nicholas and Elizabeth Klupp, Eva was born on May 18, 1916, in Detroit.
Eva was raised in Detroit. She went on to marry Peter Light, who was a veteran of World War II. He preceded her in death in 1984. Eva was a homemaker, but in her spare time she loved to travel with Peter. She and Peter always had an extensive and impressive vegetable garden.
Eva is survived by her great nephews and their spouses, David (Marie) Tuskey and Thomas (Carrie) Tuskey; and great-great nieces and nephews, Emma Tuskey, Michael Tuskey, Matthew Tuskey, and Cara Tuskey. Eva was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her siblings, John Klupp, Anna Schmidt, and Lena Killenberg; nieces, Maryann Tuskey, Barbara Curristan, Elizabeth Killenberg, nephew; Joseph Killenberg; and great nephew, Michael Tuskey.
A Funeral Mass will be held for Eva at a future date at the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit, 3700 Harvey Lake Road, Highland, MI 48356. She will be buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan.
