Obituary
Jacqueline “Jackie” Marie Roe, age 70, of Saginaw, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw. Her husband and three children were by her side and enveloped her in love as she transitioned.
She was born on July 6, 1950, to John and Hazel Roe in Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
Jackie will be remembered for many things, chief among them her generosity. She had a good heart and simply put, she was a good human. She was known for treating everyone like family.
She loved her family, her husband of 37 years, and riding the Harley. She was a longtime Avon lady, avid crocheter, and a fierce Christmas cookie baker. Always being one to have childlike wonder, her favorite time of year was Christmas. She loved celebrating the holiday gathered together with all of her kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Jackie “Yoc” is survived by her loving husband, Stan “Doc” Prahin; children, Cheryl (Jose) Beltran, John Marek, Monica (Nathan) Conkle, Ron (Amy) Prahin and Kristy (Mark) Prahin; grandchildren, Robert (Telera) Reeves, Nathan (Karlie) Reeves, Patrick Reeves, Tracy (Natalie) Reeves, Sierra Conkle, Reed Conkle, Allison Prahin, Michael Prahin, and Emma Prahin; great-grandchildren, Aunalee, Robert Jr., Violet, Iris, Emerald, Greyson, Dawson, Malakai, Emelyn and Bodhi Reeves; siblings, Charlotte Geyer, Kathe Roe, John Roe, Harry Roe, and Walter Roe.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Cusick and Debbie Near.
Following Jackie's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Jackie was participating in a year-long project in which she answered a weekly question posed to her by her children. When asked “What traits do you share with your father?” she said the following:
“Wow, this one is one that is difficult to answer. I believe the traits we share are actually shared by most of my siblings. He was a very kind person, always trying to help those who needed it. He was compassionate, loving, determined, hard-working, very dedicated to his family. I hope these are traits that people will remember about me.”
We will remember her for these traits and more.
